Effective 1/1/10, Spectrum Fitness Services no longer offers technical support plans.
However, you may find the information you’re looking for by visiting the support page for that particular system (for example – Access Systems). There you’ll find support documents relating to how to install, operate, and troubleshoot your various hardware components.
We also recommend you have the following people available to assist you if problems arise:
- Computer (PC) Technician- Use a local PC tech to assist you in troubleshooting your computer hardware and operating system. Viruses, operating system updates, and PC hardware failure are common causes of access system failure.
- Fitness Software Support Technician – Another common cause of access system failure is related to your fitness management software. You should always have a technical support plan in place with your software provider. In addition, your software provider should be made aware that you are running your club using an access control system, so that problems with your software can be prioritized accordingly.
- Local Locksmith- The locksmith that installed your electric strike or magnetic lock should be on your contact list, as well as finding a backup locksmith. It has been our experience that if the green light comes on when you power up your door controller, it is attempting to open the door. If the door is not opening at that point, call your locksmith right away, as the problem most likely lies in the strike or maglock. Learn more about troubleshooting your access system by visiting the Access Control support page.
